What is Bowman's Tag?
Bowman's Tag is a group sport and its very similar to dodge ball, except that it is played with real bows & arrows. The arrows have a solid foam tip, making them perfectly safe. Matches are played outdoors or indoors in a 100 ft x 40 ft play area, with a 10 ft middle neutral zone for retrieving arrows. In this zone, you are not allowed to shoot opposing players and if you do so, your team will be deducted one point for every hit. Targets and hiding barriers are set up on each teams respective sides.
The goal:
-Shoot out opposing team's targets
-Take players out by hitting them with an arrow
Scoring and winning the game:
-1 point for every 5 targets knocked out.
-Team with the most points at the end of the game, wins.

When you are hit by an opposing team's arrow, you must exit the field and stand on the sideline until one of your team members tags you in.
Bowman's Tag is played on an honor system, play fair and if you're hit, exit the field.
You can designate one of your team mates as a medic. When you are hit you must sit down. You can re join game play once the medic has touched you for 5 seconds. In revive mode you will be one player short as the medic will not have a bow to shoot but will have a shield to protect him or herself. If the medic is hit, he or she must sit out for one minute. You must protect your medic at all costs.
In this game mode, your time will be divided in 5 minute increments and the goal is to eliminate as many of your opponents as possible during that time. The team who eliminates the most opponents, is awarded 5 points. At the end of your session, the team with the most points wins.
No five hole targets, no stops, no medics. In the event of a tie, a target shoot out will determine the winner.
The rules are simple, eliminate your opponents!
Get together with your friends for a friendly non competitive game. No need to track points, no sit outs, no stops and no medics. Just shoot at your opponents and their targets.
